Those Interested In Establishing
First, please write to me to obtain a Rosarian Handbook. This will give you a complete description of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary/Rosary Altar Society. Although I am happy to enroll individual members, it is much better to establish Confraternities in particular churches. A chapter of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary/Rosary Altar Society may be established in any legitimate Catholic Church. The pastor of the parish must write to me on official church stationary stating that he wishes a chapter of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary/Rosary Altar Society to be established in his parish. The letter must mention the (Arch) diocese in which the church in located. I will then write to the Dominican Provincial of the Province of St. Joseph to have the Confraternity established in the parish. The official document with the stamp of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph will then be sent to the pastor, thus establishing the Confraternity in the parish. If you wish you may use the formulas and prayers in the handbook in an official prayer service when establishing the Confraternity. Although the request must come from the pastor, in most cases the pastor gives responsibility to a parishioner to promote and enroll names. All names of members must be sent to me so I may officially welcome them to the Confraternity and send to them their membership card. You are asked to keep an official registry of names for your specific chapter, as I keep an official registry of all members on the Provincial level. May God bless you and may Our Lady intercede on your behalf in this great work of promoting the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary/Rosary Altar Society. Peace and blessings, Fr.
